The wait is over! Today, Wednesday, June 5 2013, Dan Brown presented his Inferno in the Salone dei Cinquecento (Hall of the Five Hundred) in Florence.
Florence greeted the author with all the honors, and we are confident that Dan Brown is grateful to our city so rich in historical and artistic places that inspired him.
Dante, Vasari, Michelangelo, Lorenzo the Magnificent (Lorenzo il Magnifico)… relive all in Inferno with their stories and their mysteries.
Today Dan Brown cited Benigni, Mayor Matteo Renzi and all those who “love Dante”, thanking them for their contribution to the realization of his book.
As Robert Langdon, the protagonist of Inferno, even Dan Brown is the most sought after in Florence!
After today’s presentation Dan Brown will be back tomorrow, June 6 2013, at Palazzo Vecchio in the Salone dei Cinquecento, to talk with Vittorio Zucconi about the charm of the mystery, from which no one is excluded.
Repubblica delle Idee is organizing the event and it will surely be a success!
How could we miss this chance? We will be there, looking forward to satiate our hunger for unfathomable, for what history suggests but does not reveal…
Dan Brown bestsellers always generate huge media events and involve the cities where they are set in their success.
The love of this author for Italy is evident: he thanked “the culture and history of Italy that inspired him so much”, and we thank him.
With his books he invites us to experience the beauty and mystery of the cities and history of Italy, and with Inferno Dante and his work take on a great importance also for the general public.
We look forward to be at Palazzo Vecchio, sure that the charm of art and history is immortal… tomorrow we will see what Dan Brown thinks!
